This Privacy Policy explains how Pinflares (“we”, “us”, or “our”, accessible at www.pinflares.com) collects, uses, protects, and discloses information when you use the Financial Calculators mobile application (the “Application” or “App”) for Android and related devices.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By downloading, accessing, or using Financial Calculators, you consent to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Application.

1. Summary of Our Core Privacy Principles

  • 100% On-Device Financial Calculations: All financial formulas, loan amortization schedules, investment models, tax calculations, and figures entered into the App execute entirely on your local device hardware. We never transmit, inspect, or store your financial numbers or calculations on external servers.
  • No Account Required: You do not need to register, log in, or provide your name, phone number, or email address to use any calculator.
  • Zero Sensitive Data Collection: We do not collect or request bank logins, credit card numbers, Social Security/National ID numbers, contact lists, or camera/microphone access.
  • Transparent Monetization: The free tier of the App is supported by Google AdMob. Premium subscription features and ad-free access are securely managed through RevenueCat and Google Play In-App Billing.
  • User Control: You retain full ownership of your data and can delete your calculation history or reset preferences at any time directly within the App settings.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We believe your financial planning is private. Financial Calculators does not collect, store, or transmit:

  • Personal Identity Information: Names, residential addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, or government-issued IDs.
  • Financial Account Data: Bank account numbers, PINs, debit/credit card details, investment account credentials, or credit reports.
  • User Input Data: Principal loan amounts, monthly salaries, interest rates, property values, profit margins, or financial notes entered into any of our 21 calculators.
  • Intrusive Hardware Access: We do not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, media files, or precise GPS location.

3. Information Processed Locally on Your Device

To provide a seamless user experience, the App stores certain non-sensitive data exclusively within your device’s private sandboxed local storage (using Android SharedPreferences):

  • Calculation History & Bookmarks: Saved calculations (e.g., loan results, interest schedules, investment projections) and favorites are saved locally so you can review or restore them later.
  • User Preferences: Your chosen visual theme (System Default, Light, or Dark mode) and your preferred global currency symbol (e.g., USD, EUR, GBP, INR, CAD, AUD, etc.).

Your Control: This local data never leaves your device. You can erase all calculation records at any time by navigating to Settings & Preferences → Privacy & Data Safety → Clear Calculation History, or by clearing app data / uninstalling the App from your device settings.

4. Third-Party Services and In-App Subscriptions

To deliver optional premium features, subscription management, and ad support, Financial Calculators integrates trusted third-party SDKs that operate in compliance with the Google Play Developer Policy, GDPR, and CCPA.

A. RevenueCat (In-App Subscriptions & Purchase Management)

We use RevenueCat (provided by RevenueCat, Inc.) to power our in-app purchases, manage premium subscriptions, and grant ad-free and pro features.

  • Information Processed by RevenueCat:
    • Anonymous App User ID: A randomly generated, pseudonymous identifier assigned to your device to verify your subscription entitlements across app sessions without identifying you personally.
    • Purchase & Transaction Metadata: Product IDs purchased, subscription tier, start date, expiration date, renewal status, and transaction receipt tokens provided by Google Play.
    • Device & Environment Data: Operating system version, app version, language, country/currency, and coarse IP address (used strictly for regional tax compliance and store validation).
  • Payment Security: RevenueCat does not collect or have access to your payment card details. All billing transactions are conducted directly through the Google Play Store via Google Play In-App Billing.

B. Google Play In-App Billing (Google LLC)

All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google LLC through the Google Play Store payment gateway. Your billing information (credit card number, billing address, PayPal) is collected and processed directly by Google according to the Google Payments Privacy Notice.

C. Google AdMob (Google LLC)

The free version of Financial Calculators displays non-intrusive banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads served by Google AdMob (provided by Google LLC).

  • Information Processed by AdMob:
    • Device Identifiers: Google Advertising ID (GAID), IP address, and network provider.
    • Ad Performance Data: Ad views, impressions, clicks, and diagnostic telemetry to measure campaign performance and prevent fraud.
    • Coarse Geolocation: Non-precise, general location (such as country or city level derived from IP address) to serve regionally relevant advertisements.
  • Ad-Free Option: Users who subscribe to Premium via RevenueCat (or watch a rewarded video for an ad-free pass) have all advertising disabled. In ad-free mode, ad requests are stopped.
  • Opt-Out & Ad Personalization: You can reset your Google Advertising ID or opt out of personalized interest-based advertising at any time through your Android device settings:
    • Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID or Opt out of Ads Personalization.

5. Device Permissions Required

The Application requests only the minimal permissions strictly necessary for core functionality and network connectivity:

6. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Local Data: Calculation history and preferences remain on your device indefinitely until you clear them in-app, wipe the app cache/data, or uninstall the Application.
  • Subscription Records: Transaction records and anonymous entitlements managed by RevenueCat and Google Play are retained in accordance with statutory accounting and tax retention periods required by applicable laws.
  • Data Deletion Inquiries: Because we do not collect user accounts or email addresses, we do not hold personal profiles. 7. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR / UK Data Protection Act)

If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom (UK), our legal basis for collecting and using the technical information described above depends on the specific context:

  1. Performance of a Contract: Processing subscription receipts and purchase status via RevenueCat and Google Play is necessary to deliver the premium features you purchased.
  2. Legitimate Interests: Serving non-intrusive advertisements to support free development, preventing fraud, and ensuring network security.
  3. Consent: Where required by law (such as for personalized advertising in the EEA), your consent is obtained prior to serving personalized ads. You may withdraw consent at any time through your device settings or in-app preferences.

Your Rights under GDPR:

  • Right of access to any data associated with your pseudonymous ID.
  • Right to rectification or erasure.
  • Right to restrict or object to processing.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with your national Data Protection Authority (DPA).

8. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA)

  • Categories of Data Collected: Identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID and anonymous RevenueCat App User ID), commercial information (subscription purchase history via Google Play), and internet/network activity (ad interactions).
  • No Sale of Personal Information: We do not sell your personal information to third parties for monetary compensation.
  • Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you in pricing or service quality for exercising any of your privacy rights.

9. Children’s Privacy (COPPA & Google Play Families Policy)

Financial Calculators is a general-audience financial utility designed for adults, professionals, and students. The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions), and we do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children.
