Your educational data remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to export, print, or share it using the App’s export or sharing functionality or your device’s native sharing capabilities.
Once you choose to share or export information, the resulting copy may be handled by the application, cloud service, messaging service, or other destination that you select and will be subject to that service’s privacy practices.
B. Data Collected Automatically Through Third-Party Services
Although we do not intentionally collect or store your educational records on our servers, certain third-party services integrated into the App may automatically collect technical and usage information.

We do not intentionally use Firebase Analytics to collect or upload the educational records that you enter into Mark Book.

We recommend protecting your device with:
- A strong PIN or password
- Biometric authentication, where available

Information transmitted to applicable third-party providers may be protected using appropriate security measures, such as encrypted network connections.
However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
6. Children’s Privacy
Mark Book is designed as a utility for teachers, educators, and other users managing educational records, rather than for children.
The App is not directed toward children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
Student Data
Student information entered into Mark Book is entered by the educator or other authorized user and is designed to remain stored locally on that user’s device.

Locally Stored Educational Data
Because educational records are stored locally on your device rather than on our servers, we generally cannot access, retrieve, modify, or delete those records on your behalf.
You can delete locally stored educational data through the App, where applicable, or by clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling the App through your device settings.
If you export or share your educational data, you are responsible for managing copies created outside the App.
Advertising Preferences
You can manage advertising and tracking preferences through your device’s privacy settings and other controls provided by the relevant advertising provider.
8. Data Retention
Educational data entered into Mark Book is designed to remain stored locally on your device. We do not maintain those educational records on our own servers.
Technical, analytics, crash, performance, advertising, and other service-related information may be retained by us or our third-party service providers for periods reasonably necessary to provide services, improve the App, maintain security, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the third-party service involved.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, our services, third-party providers, or applicable legal requirements.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we handle information.
Your continued use of the App after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
